Pirinthavar koodinal, pesal vendumo?
The great poet Kamban says, ” When those who separated come face-to-face, are words required?”
He uses it to refer to Lord Rama and Sita Devi (Vishnu and Lakshmi reuniting in their human incarnation) meeting for the first time face-to-face in the Ramayanam. I, however, prefer to use it as a reference for the reuniting, the meeting between all manifest beings. All of us have come from the same source. The ONE that became Man-Y.
We are all ONE but the sense of duality arises in us as a result of the Avidya Klesha, the root inherent psychological affliction that binds us to our ignorance. Ignor(e)ance of the Universal Reality. When we start to go within, as we understand ourselves more and more. As we grow in spirit, our perspective grows too.
The Blinkers come off. The warped prejudiced perspectives get destroyed.
And, we SEE.
When we finally begin to realise that bigger sense of oneness, we are no longer ‘separated’, we are no longer lonely, we are no longer alone, but are then indeed blessed with a sense of ALL ONE-NESS.
When we smile at/for/with others, we are connecting with the oneness that links all of us. Especially when we smile from the heart, with soulful, loving mindfulness. Words are no longer required.
Smile, and the world smiles with you! َ
